UQ Economics – Undergraduate Scholarships for Brazilian Students

The School of Economics at The University of Queensland is one of Australia’s leading economics institutions, offering the widest range of courses and the largest PhD program in Australia.

The School of Economics is offering undergraduate scholarships to outstanding Brazilian students for the following programs for commencement in semester 2, 2009 (July):

Bachelor of Economics (BEcon): approx. scholarship value AUD 36 240 (R$ 57 900)

BEcon dual program: approx. scholarship value AUD 27 180* (R$ 43 425) * Varies upon the dual program combination undertaken.

Based on BEcon component of a dual program being 36 units.

These scholarships are awarded based on academic excellence and other achievements.

Application fee waived for economics scholarship applications.

Students have to option to specialise in the Bachelor of Economics:

International Trade and Finance

Quantitative Methods

Business and Industry

Natural Resources and Environment

Applications must be received at UQ for July 2009 commencement by 17 April 2009.
