The UC San Diego Extension English Language Institute (ELI) offers two online medical English courses for current and/or aspiring medical professionals who want to improve their English on a schedule and format suited for a busy lifestyle anywhere in the world! Both courses focus on the patient-provider relationship through integrated communication skills practice of clinical terminology and the corresponding common language. Course highlights and activities include an overview of anatomy and physiology, common pathologies associated with each system of the body, role-plays in clinical settings, along with ample opportunity for listening and pronunciation practice.
