About Medical English Online:

The University of California, San Diego Extension offers a 4-week Medical English program in August only and a Medical English Online program designed for non-native speakers of English in the medical and healthcare professions who need to use English for both work and professional studies. The Medical English Online program is offered four times per year.

There are two online courses that highlight and include anatomy and physiology, common pathologies, role plays in clinical settings, and pronunciation practice. The following Medical English Online demonstration link focuses on the Pulmonary Thoracic Medicine and the Respiratory System. Please note that the quizzes are not contained in the demonstration.
