Scholarships for International Students

Every year HPU awards over 100 scholarships to international students with strong academic and extra-curricular backgrounds. Additional information about the many scholarship opportunities can be found at www.hpu.edu/scholarships. The newly-launched Debate Scholarship (50% tuition waiver) is awarded to students who seek a communication degree and have a proven debate track record. The Undergraduate International Scholarship has been established by HPU to recognize outstanding international students who have the potential to become leaders in their respective communities. The Undergraduate International Scholarship is a partial tuition waiver ranging from 20% to 50% of tuition. Eligible applicants are new, full-time degree seeking students who have applied directly to the University and have been accepted.

Highlighted below are three colleges at HPU that are seeking qualified, motivated, and bright applicants, along with some specifics about each program and prospective applicant’s profile:

a) Natural Sciences

- In addition to a vibrant and thorough academic program, HPU offers outstanding research and internship possibilities at the Oceanic Institute (www.oceanicinstitute.org), HPU’s world-renowned research campus.

- With its multitude of diverse ecosystems, Hawaii is considered a ’natural’ laboratory for applying the skills and knowledge acquired in the classroom

b) Business Administration and International Relations
